Tools and Processes for a Sustainable World by Barrett C. Brown

As our global challenges become more complex, we must become increasingly capable in order to respond effectively. Our economic, social, and ecological systems are far more complex and nuanced than any one mind can understand, much less effectively steward into healthier expressions. Yet daily we are called to respond to the suffering of people and the other life with which we share the earth. We are asked to bring forth more creativity, collaboration, and effective action than we have ever mastered before. A vital question therefore is:

What tools and processes can we leverage to help us create true solutions and a sustainable world?

This workshop will review the capacities that emerge as we develop our single greatest asset - our consciousness.

We will also cover a high-level overview of some of the tools that change agents and wise leaders are using to foster and drive the healthy development of complex social and ecological systems.

Other key topics include:
- the shadow aspects of change agency, and
- personal inquiry into high impact leverage points which can help global sustainability to emerge.
