Integral Practice Arnhem group starts 2nd November --> 2 places left!
Integral Practice Cycle Arnhem - November 2009 - July 2010
Join a committed group of people coming together for 1 evening a month for 9 months to cultivate your personal evolution and to inspire and empower each other.
Essential Elements of this Integral Practice group:
- Same time, same place: every first Monday of the Month from 20:00 - 22:00 in Arnhem, Netherlands
- Tea and cookies :-)
- Different topics and exercises every time, facilitated by Anouk Brack, co-created by us all.
- Always a nice blend of individual and collective; body, mind and spirit exercises
We are starting the new practice cycle in November: You make a personal commitment to these meetings and this practice group. This means that you intent to join us every time (accept if you're ill of course).
Costs: A free donation to the Experience Integral Foundation. Suggested donation is € 5,- per session, so € 45,- for the whole practice cycle.

This article is just great! A beautiful introduction for everyone struggling to communicate sustainability (or any issue) to people with differing worldviews. It is an attractive and clear read. Here's an exerpt:
INTEGRAL COMMUNICATIONS FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Why care for the environment? Ask this question of people from around the world and myriad responses will return. You might hear, “Do it… For your children * For the technical challenge of achieving sustainability * Because the Glorious Qur’an states that this is man’s obligation * To save Gaia * Because it is the ancestral way * For the opportunity to make money * To preserve the beauty of Nature * So I don’t get cancer from pollutants * Because it is honorable and is our responsibility to be stewards * To stop the greedy industrialists by any means necessary * Because pollution is a sin against Creation * To sacredly express love for all of existence.
What is your answer? Do any of these responses feel true to you and appeal to your deepest sensibilities? (....)
These different statements will resonate with different worldviews. If you had even the slightest negative reaction to any of the statements, it may indicate that you have some difficulty relating to the worldview that generated it. This article is a brief introduction to the art and science of communicating about sustainability to different worldviews.

Introducing new board member Miriam van Groen
Dear supporters,
My name is Miriam van Groen, and as of last month, I am the treasurer of the Experience Integral Foundation.
I have known Anouk since I was treasurer for a youth association some years ago. Somehow our paths have kept crossing and we keep rediscovering how fond we are of each other. A little ball started rolling when she asked me to help her with and join her during the foundation's first event this summer, the truly amazing Integral Leadership for Sustainable Evolution Seminar. I saw it as a great present for myself after finishing my masters thesis in International Development: a way to kickstart the rest of my life. And it was :-)!
After the seminar, becoming a board member was an intuitive as well as a logical step for me to take. I look forward to helping the foundation organize many more successful events and to reach its goal of supporting the evolution of human consciousness and the development of an integral worldview. I hope to see you soon!
